“A Rosicrucian endeavors to be a walking question mark”
The members of the Columbine Pronaos warmly contribute our collective light, life, and love for the benefit of all Rosicrucian students, and others of like mind who seek answers to the ageless mysteries of life. The Columbine Pronaos is a local affiliated body of the Rosicrucian Order AMORC. The Columbine Pronaos meets in Boulder Colorado, and conducts activities and events throughout the year. We welcome all members, non-members, and students of mysticism and metaphysics of all traditions to share in our work, and to learn more about the Rosicrucian Order, and the Columbine Pronaos. In Light, Life, and Love, the Columbine Pronaos members. Current Events and AnnouncementsMembers' Photo Gallery Is Now Open! After a bit (more) work, we've installed the Photo Galleries for members to share their photos. To get things started, we've already posted a large collection of photos taken by Rich Harman on the annual retreat last september. We've also posted a few photos from the recent visit to the Egyptian exhibit at the Denver Museum of Science & Nature. Members are allowed and encouraged to post their own photos and comments. The catch is that the webmaster needs to create a login for you. This is just so that we don't get unwanted photos posted by people that we don't know. So, members and friends, send a request for your login name to the webmaster (Mark Martin) so you can post your photos of current or past events today! Regional Committee MeetingThe next Regional Committee Meeting will be on January 29th. It
will start promptly at 2 PM, so please plan to be at our home
about 1-1:30 PM to get settled in. This will be a good time for incoming Masters to get needed information
for their agendas. We will be discussing the up coming Imagine
AMORC 2005 and cementing plans for that weekends activities. The meeting place will be at Fr. Bill & Sr.Irene Hallett's home, 1314 Whitehall Dr., Longmont, CO. Please call or email me if you need directions. (303) 774-8043. Point your mouse cursor at the map above to zoom in. Driving directions and more maps can be found at MapQuest. Imagine AMORCGrand Lodge is holding their Imagine AMORC brainstorming session in March, 2005 in Denver. This will be a... "Grand" opportunity to offer your ideas to increase the light of the order and spread that light into the world. All AMORC members are invited. Guests of Honor include Christian Bernard, Julie Scott, and Karen Wark. More details at the Events Page. The Discussion Boards Are Now Open! After a bit of work, we've installed the Discussion Boards, and properly set up several forums to suit our purposes. Members should go visit the Discussion Boards area. In the On The Street board, there is a special introductory message with instructions on how to get started. We look forward to meeting everyone there! New Retreat Photos PostedWe have a few photos from the retreat last September posted. Check them
out at the new Retreat Page! AnnouncementsMetaphysical AidAnyone in need, whether a member of the Rosicrucian Order or not, is welcome and encouraged to enlist the aid of the Columbine Pronaos' Metaphysical Aid committee. Simply contact the Metaphysical Aid committee representative, and give the name and need of yourself or another. Please Note! Metaphysical aid will be given for one month at a time. If the need is met before that time period, please let us know. If more than one month's aid is needed, please contact us again to keep the aid coming. The Pronaos LibraryNext time you're in Boulder, why not visit us and check out our library? We have recently received donations of several out of print books. They may be out of print, but they're very illumined works. We have available to lend nearly 200 books (many from the AMORC reading list), issues of the Rosicrucian digest going back many years, and AMORC cassette tapes including discourses by Dr. Lewis and Dr. Edwards. All of this covers many interesting topics. We hope you will stop by and browse before or after convocations. We often have pleasant and enlightening discussions on material from the library. Wanted: Books From AMORC Press Jesse Parsons Memorial FundThe fund was established in memory of Jess Parsons, a long time Rosicrucian and beloved friend of many. The purpose of the fund is to assist Rosicrucians in the Rocky Mountain Region with Grand Lodge dues or affiliated body dues in times of hardship. Contact an affiliated body officer to request assistance. You may mail a donation to this worthy cause in care of the Secretary of Columbine Pronaos, PO Box 13, Boulder CO 80306. Please designate JPMF on the donation. |
